Payment details for BACBED
Students will need to pay the BACBED fee of Rs. 3,00,000/- + £ 131 for accreditation by Laser Learning Awards, UK.
BACBED fee of Rs. 3,00,000/- is broken up into interest free monthly instalments of Rs. 10,000/- per month, for 30 months, payable by the 5th of every month.
The Laser fee of £ 131 needs to be paid within the first month of joining the course. This is to give students an opportunity to try out the course for a month to see if it is right for them.
None of the fee is refundable.
What happens if I do not pay the monthly fee?
You will be studying on our online learning portal and on the 5th of every month, your account will get locked up. It gets unlocked only when you pay the fee and will remain unlocked only till the 5th of next month. You need to pay again, to have it unlock for another month.
What happens if I am late in paying on a particular month?
We understand that life can get in the way. For example, on one month, you may have an emergency and may not be able to study for the first 10 days. So you pay 10 days late. You still have to pay the full month's fee, and you get to access the portal for just 20 days, since all units get locked on the 5th of the next month. But, the additional 10 days, however, get added to your account and at the end of the course, you get 10 additional days of learning, without having to pay fees.
What if I take longer than 30 months to finish?
No big deal. You just continue to pay the monthly fee for each extra month you need. However, Laser requires that you finish within 36 months. If you are unlikely to do that, then you will have to follow our Extensions Process to apply for an extension and you will be given extensions in a case per case basis, depending on if we are able to demonstrate to Laser that the extension was indeed justified. To know more about this, please do read our Learning Continuity & Extensions policy.
What if there is some kind of a emergency that keeps me from studying a whole month? Will it them result in me having to pay more?
Yes, 30 months is a long time and often there will be things that come up that makes it impossible to learn. So you can chose to not pay for a particular month and not unlock the portal. You can resume the next month. However, do remember that Laser does impose an upper limit of 36 months and even if you do take breaks, you must complete in 36 months. You cannot take more than that. To know more about this, please do read our Learning Continuity & Extensions policy.
What if take less than 30 months to finish the course?
Ah yes! The eager beavers. If you take less than 30 months, then your fees will not yet be paid in full and the remainder must be cleared before we graduate you. However, because you went faster than expected, you will be rewarded, where you will not be required to pay the full amount. There will be a discount applied. Contact our office to know the applicable discount.
What is this Laser fee and why is it shown in £ and not in Rupees?
This is a fee charged by Laser when we register our students with them. You have a month to try out the course and see if you want to continue learning with BHARCS. If you chose to do so, then we MUST register you with Laser. This is not optional. Laser charges a fee based on the number of credits and they list the fee in Great Britain Pounds. We will have to calculate the exchange rate at the time of your registration and we will let you know the amount in Indian Rupees, at the time of payment, since exchange rates do change rapidly.
Are any of these fees refundable?
Nope! The fees are collected in installments so that you have the option of walking away from the course at any time. The Laser fee is collected a month after you start, so that you can determine if you are sure about this course. All of this is done so that you can determine if this course is right for you and if this is the right time in your life to do the course. Because we are collecting fees only in installments, no refunds. This holds true irrespective of whether you chose to discontinue or if we had to expel you from school for any reason.
