Most of Turid's concepts advocate calming dogs down as the very first step to working with a dog. A thorough knowledge of what excites and calms a dog is key to proceed learning and hence this too is somewhat of a foundation module. In this module, students will not only gain a good understanding of how a dog's heart works, what increases and decreases a dog's heart rate, but will also be reviewing the research work that is ongoing in the area. The module also includes a small practical task, to introduce students to the idea of practical self learning. This will guide students on how to self evaluate their work so they can learn from their mistakes and grow. This is to ensure that students continue growing well past our education programs.
